Default differential installation questions

I have reinstalled the differential and have a question regarding the crossmember that holds the differential to the frame. I have torqued the bolts to the specified 70 foot pounds. There seem to be quite a gap between the frame and the crossmember. I have included a photo. Is this gap acceptable? I did not use new bushings. The old ones seemed to be in good shape.

Thanks

Hi 69,
Here's a view of my carrier cross member bushing.
It's the original bushing and it looks like the crossmember might be seated SLIGHTLY deeper than yours…??
Regards,
Alan

Default Torque on bolts holding rear end crossmember to frame .

My documentation shows bolt torque on the two bolts through the sombrero to the cross member as 25 ft lbs.

Default I understand!

I understand but people still read these threads and tearing up that captive bolt is a BIG deal!
