70 headlight mechanism release point
Right Headlight doesn't want to retract. It's not a vacuum issue. The car sat from 1980-2012, so everything is a bit stiff.
I can't remember where I need to pull/push underneath to release it. I remember something about the "knee" in the mechanism. Anyone have a good photo to help out a forgetful old guy? Much appreciated!

Pull slightly forward and down while reaching up through the valance or in through the grill opening if it's out.
