Default Badge??
This badge was on the back of my 71. is it just something the owner found at the parts store or does it signify that this is a one of a kind, ultra rare car that is worth 1.2 million dollars

badges.. we don't need no stinking badges.

but you did not post any picture. but the only badging on a 71 is the cross flags on the nose and gas door and the word Corvette between the tail lights. a dealer could have put there emblem on

Probably just an early team USA Olympic support badge or maybe just a country badge that some people put on their cars. Looks like it was on there for awhile!
