Hi bt,
Welcome! First Post!
I believe you'll find the the windshield wiper/washer wiring in the engine bay are part of the car's engine harness while the wiring for the wiper/washer in the interior of the car is part of the dash harness.
The connection is made at the fuse panel on the firewall.
What are you looking at/using for a wiring diagram?
68-72 cars had four main wiring harnesses:
Forward Lighting Harness.
Engine Harness
Dash Harness
Rear lighting Harness
Are you serious that you're working on a car with NO wiring at all? or no wiring for the wiper/washers?
Regards,
Alan

Is the wiper door still attached to the car?

The reason I ask is that the wiring is much easier to repair if the previous owner removed the wiper door and installed a longer hood to replace the wiper door.

From what members like Alan have taught me............If the wiper door is still attached there are several other devices that need to be connected to the wiring so the wipers will work correctly and so the wiper door will open and close correctly.

You've lost me. If your car has no wiring at all, you're not driving it and if you're not driving it, you don't need wipers. FWIW: My 68 AIM has a wiring diagram in it, but that may not help much if you need forward lamp, engine, and dash harnesses.
