I wish, used to go there a lot when I lived in Ga. Drove my car today , soaking wet when I got home, still hot here in the desert. Hope you have great weather.
Finally got home yesterday at about 6:00 p.m. Turned a 6 hour trip into 11 hours. Everything was fine until we got to Columbia, SC. No detour signs anywhere. Just "Road Closed" signs. Had try different routes until we found back roads that were open. Wound up going thru Orangeburg to I-26 and home. The Fest itself was fun. 5 C-3s showed up, all driven. 1 C1, 1 C2, both trailered. The C1 was a modified and was in the lobby. The C2 was parked in the entrance overhang and was there for a couple hours before being put back into the trailer. There were about 120 C5/C6/C7s. Rained off and on most of the weekend. Four of us (C3s) were awarded "Best in Class" trophies. I was lucky enuf to receive the "Sponsors Award" trophy from Reeder Chevrolet (No, I don't know anyone from Reeder). Gotta admit, I'm very proud of that award. All-in all, enjoyed the trip. Car ran great and I stayed mostly dry. Hope y'all have a wonnerful week, Bill
