Wire routing and looms

I want to run my ignition wires under my headers. Are there wire looms that screw into the engine block where the old exhaust manifold shield used to be? Is this doable? Any suggestions?

The normal routing is from beneath. Chevy never ran the wiring over the valve covers (on the small block). Check out the stock ignition shielding and see if that would work for you.

The spark plug shields that were used with cast manifolds .... I do not believe will ever fit unless you seriously modify them.

Also...I have come across many headers that due to their bends...can make it REALLY hard to get the plug wires to connect to the spark plugs from the underside and allow for that route for the wires also.
