78 pace car spoiler
I am restoring my car and the only real body part that needs replaced is the rear spoiler. Anyone know of a good place to get a rear spoiler for a 78 pace car? I have also read somewhere what material it should be made out of but I can't remember. I think the original one is plastic which is why it was full of waves.... should the new one be fiberglass?

Yes.... you are correct...it is made out of plastic....because ...technically....urethane is classified as a plastic. Original rear spoilers were made out of urethane...just like your factory front and rear bumpers.....which is why it is wavey.
If you get e new fiberglass one....it will take a bit of fitting to get it to fit good. And if you are looking for a PERFECTLY NON-WAVY spoiler.....the fiberglass one will take some work to get it like that due to being manufactured so thin.
Do not throw away the original...some people will pay $$$ for it ...due to it being original instead of aftermarket.
