Default Headlight door very lazy.

1975 right headlight door goes up and down almost as quick as the switch is pushed/pulled. The left one lags behind in both directions by at least 5 or 6 seconds. Whats up with that???
Thanks

look for vacuum leaks anywhere in the right circuit.keep in mind you can run both actuators off the same vacuum relay,i do with even response.just need to use tee's.good luck.

Your 1975 has TWO actuator relays and I bet that the one relay for the 'slow' side is leaking like crazy.

CAREFULLY put a hose near you ear when the car is running and take the other end of the hose and come in from the BOTTOM or UNDERSIDE of the BLACK PLASTIC portion of the relay and listen for air sucking in. SO the end of your hose will be pointing straight up and going into the SQUARE molded section of the relay at he bottom. I can not describe it any more than that. Takes about 10 seconds to check.

Also...the vacuum seal in the actuator can be bad also....but I bet that it is in the relay.
