Hi Pep,
Really getting old here!
First picture…. can easily remember the Nomad and the Cameo but not the yellow one.
Maybe H…. something? came and went at 'about' the same time as the Prowler and T-Bird?
Regards,
Alan

Hi gb,
Are H and S close in the alphabet?
I looked it up!
I was thinking HHR…. that lovely PT Cruiser competitor.
Too many cars of little or NO consequence!
Why did GM think they needed to be afraid of the competition when actually they needed to be afraid of themselves?.
Remember what Pogo said….. .
Regards,
Alan

Looks great! Nice collection of Franklin Mint and Danbury Mint 1/25th scale 'vettes as well. I'm still trying to track down the red '74, green '75 'vert and a '93 ZR-1.

I'll post up our tree tonight.

Later,

Lee

Here are our two trees. Both have Hot Wheels, Johnny Lightning holiday cars and Hallmark cars on them.

Merry Christmas,

Nice collection!!

Can you give any info on the 2-tone 80's era C3 in the case on the 4th shelf from the top? It looks a lot like my 80 and I would love to have a replica like that.

Not too cheap...those are the Franklin Mint late C3s. Usually they trade on Ebay for $100+. The two-tone ones don't pop up all that much. Just keep an eye for them on Ebay or even Craigslist.

I have a few Franklin Mint cars, but was unaware they made the two tone C3's. I'll keep an eye out!

Actually, that one is not a Franklin Mint, it is a GM Promo model, probably made by AMT that I found on EBAY. Most of the others are Franklin Mint that I have picked up over the years. It appears to be silver blue over dark blue that the Corvette Black Books lists as a color option in 82.

Can I play? Here are some shots of the 10 foot tree in The Hot Rod Grille garage. It is decorated with everything "garage" (car, including many Corvette ornaments, petro, soda, coin-op, 50-60's pop culture, etc). The tree has 1200 white lights and a lit gumball machine topper. I have some of my original 1960's toys under the tree. The "Major Award" leg lamp gets moved to the living room window on Christmas Eve. It's never too late to have a happy childhood!

Thanks for the info! I believe I have one of these stashed away in the box somewhere.
