Dome light not working

Hi guys...so here's the new development. Now the dome light lights up...but is doing something weird. the dome light lights up when all the other lights go off....even with the car keys are not in the ignition...now the dome light is on when the car is parked....but when I open the door, it goes off (thats when the lower light go on in both passenger seat and driver seat)...Any idea of whats wrong? Does it mean the wiring is inverted?
