On the 78, it was a pain when I was flexible. The person that designed its location was not a nice person.
That fuse box location is just mean.

I change a fuse and my upper body hurts the next day.
It would have been a little more string but it would have been better off in the storage compartment behind the seats.

Boy do you have that right I'm 71 years old and had to replace a fuse I also have a bad back and I hurt for four days after doing that.

Nope...but did change to blade fuses- just in case I decide to have it NCRS judged I can change it back!!!

Know what you mean, I was contorted between the seat and the floor trying to get a fuse. Good luck for me the neighborhood kids likes old cars and stopped by to see what I was doing. The kid reached in and got the fuse in a couple of minutes...

I have never understood why the fuse panel was hidden up under the dash. I always thought that was the dumbest thing!

I agree,especially after having an '85 that had the box on the right side of the dashboard.
