By "headlamps" do you mean the lights themselves, the mechanisms, the doors, or the frames….or all of that?

The front of the frames changed slightly when the chrome bumper and it's nose reinforcement went away after 1974.
There's a 'spacer' available (you need 4) that either allow you to use the later in the earlier or the earlier in the later… I'm not sure which.
