Chrome Locking Gas cap
I have lost my keys to my gas cap.... http://www.ecklerscorvette.com/corve...1963-1974.html and I need to get into the tank. What advise can you offer? I will drill the tumbler assembly if I have to but I have also read that there is a master key for those in my position... Help if you can.

There are 3 spring loaded clamps that hold it to the filler neck. You may be able to get a bent screwdriver or something between the edge of the lid and the filler neck (from below) to pull the clamps outwards enough to make them unsnap.
