looking at another vette that is same color when built. but need help on trim tag where it is D25, which Nov 25th. The pad shows T0901CPH and C11S102484.
Is it possible to have a trim tag build date of Nov 25th and build date on motor of Sept.1st

I'd think it was likely, no Corvettes were made in Oct, 1970 for the 71 model year, and only 449 were made in Nov.

Hi t,
I think 65GG's figures show the engine went in to the SEQUENCE number of 71 model year cars right ABOUT where you might expect it to…. but the car was BUILT about a month later than you'd have thought it would have been.
Regards,
Alan

Your car was likely to have been scheduled for assembly in late September, 1970 but got caught in the strike which began about September 15th. My better's half's 71 also has an engine assembly date of September with a time built code of December 3.

Correct. Production resumed in late November following the strike.

haven't priced older vettes to buy, but matching numbers on drive train ,ps,pb,ac,pw,coupe, doesn't need paint original color, chrome is good, good frame but has 104,000 miles on it. price is low 20s don't know if that is a good on it and don't want to hurt on mileage.
