Default FI Conversion reccs?

Seriously considering converting my ZZ4 to FI this summer. Doing research on options now. Curious to know who has done this (or similar) and what you would recommend.

My car is a 71 Vert ZZ4 with 5k miles on the restoration. It has Edelbrock aluminum heads, intake and carb. MSD ignition. Tremec 5-speed.

Let me know what your recommendations are...

IMO the current Holley EFI (Terminator/HP/Dominator) is hard to beat. I'm running the HP with sequential port injection on my 454.

My '72 vert was an old show car in the DC region of Md......I bought it in '95 and on the stock 4 speed/rear/L48 I installed a complete L98 speed density injection setup, like on a 88-91 vette.....used a K/N air cleaner on the stock 48mm T-body which I still have, and for sale if you want.....not used in years now....

when you mount the 1227730 computer behind the map pocket, make a couple of brackets to hang it from the window metal/birdcage with the wires hanging along the bottom edge, when you tear the lower dash out you find a 'slot' between the various sections of the HVAC ducts, it's about 2" wide and comes out just to the pass side and below the dizzy in the engine bay....making wiring very easy and direct.....

I have had various L98 setups on it through the years, stock L98 for street driving is as good as any.....moved to Florida some 19 years ago, and on the trip down I95 clocking 4k rpm and 80 mph barely keeping up with traffic, I got 24 mpg.....where as with the carb setup best I could clock was about 15 mpg, about the longest trip the car did was from DC region to my sister's place in Pa. so just a couple hours......getting like 22 mpg.....so the swap is worth it....no question...

Here in Florida over the last 19 years, the car has 'grown' a bit....but still the same 1227730 speed density computer....

see site for some pix.....PM for info, if I miss this thread.....
