Default Autometer Assistance Request

I have purchased Auto Meter tach and speedo gauges for use with my 72 road racer and I am seeking any advice on the installation of these into my stock lower left dash pad. If you have done it, or know someone that has, I would appreciate connecting with them to see if they have adapter knowledge that I can use.
Thank you in advance and best regards,
David Howard

Morning Dave, I'm doing the same thing on my 74. I had the adaptors made and I'm in the process off assembly. I can post pics latter today if you would like. The only problem I've encountered is the bezel is hitting the acrylic at the bottom. I think a gasket will make it fit.

Dale

Hi David,

This thread should help. I did not have enough interest to get more made, only a set for myself.

Thanks for this. I will print it out and follow it closely, so thanks again.
Snow was brutal for this area. We received officially 31.9" of the white stuff and we are dealing with it a foot at a time. I am clear and mobile now which is better than many. Thanks for asking, we cope and await the warmer temperatures to arrive.

Thank you Dale. I have printed out your pictures and will follow them. I have a friend that might be able to make the adapters for me. Another project, oh boy.

Thank you again though, I appreciate it.

I received the trim rings yesterday late from UPS. I will be sizing them today. Cannot wait to see how these look and work. Pictures when I get this done.
Thanks again.

Hey Richard,
I never professed to being a good photographer and I only put the rings on for a quick few shots, then removed them to make another set. Here they are from the front. I have new lenses for these carriers and I have a stunning lower left dash pad to mount these into, but not today. I have a couple of things taking priority right now with the sale of the 72 coupe, but I will be back on this soon.
