I'm getting ready to install the roof trim on my 74 and need a picture of the top trim piece where it meets the rear. The 3 pieces meet leaving a gap. Is this left open or is it filled with sealer? I know the center piece has sealer along the rear edge but didn't know if the gap had any to keep it from collecting water.

Hi Dale,
There was originally a bead of sealer at that location.

Here's what was there originally…. similar to 3M strip caulk?

Thanks Alan, I was trying to avoid a bunch of black goo in that area but I guess I will just have to be careful.

Hi,
I used a minimum amount of sealer and kept it under the trim.
