Default 1968 Corvette Interior Color

I'm looking at grabbing some interior parts online today for the 68. I believe the 414 interior code os for "medium blue". When I hit up wilcox, they're offering bright blue for 68 and 69. Am I right in thinking it's thevsame color just different name?

Also, carpet type, 80/20 loop was only option then right?

414= medium blue vinyl.
411= dark blue.
Yes 80/20 only for 68.

The 'Bright Blue for '68/69 is a very metallic looking interior color. That may be the same as Medium Blue for the '68, as I don't see 'Bright Blue' in the list of interior colors. But, I had a '68 with bright blue interior which was the same as the '69 Bright Blue.

I believe the Medium Blue interior is darker and does not have that metallic look to it.

To check them out, go to Google and type in "Images 1968 Corvette Medium Blue Interior". Click on that header when it gets listed to see many photos of '68 interiors. You can easily see the difference between the Bright Blue and Medium Blue colors.

Contact Willcox directly and ask them. I'm sure they will be able to help you out.

The right side dash pad and the outer horn ring are the only pieces that give a reasonable representation of the true color (Bright Blue) in the above photo...because of the photo flash lighting. Seats are in shadow, so they look very dark. Upper dash pad reflects too much light.

Again, Google image photos provide decent comparison shots.
