Default Indicator lens - how to replace?

How do you get this in? Its new to replace a missing one. The back is sealed and I thought I'd ask. It does not just simply slide in from the front either.

Installs in a plastic housing and mounts from the rear of the center cluster.

I believe mine was sealed with a cork gasket that sticks pretty good. I had to tap on it with a very light hammer and pry with a screwdriver.

Good luck.

Thanks! I'll have to see if I can pry it apart I guess. I just didn't want to start pulling it apart to learn that there is a better way! There is a bit of black glue or something that seems to be holding everything together.

Sorry for the lack of pics...I know it always helps, but I've been super busy. I'll give it a try and report back!

Previous owner may have used silicone. Try using a razor to clean off the outside so you can see the seam. Then use a utilityknife, box cutter to get into the seam and pry it apart. Be careful not to cut the plastic.

Good luck
