I love the 73. When we did all of the body work on mine, I had the option to change to put any combination of front/ back on it. I chose the 73. I like how unique it is. I will probably put the bumpers on the summer. Then again I have been saying that for a few summers now.
Your 73 looks great. What wheels and tires did you use? Did you do any suspension work?

Your experience sounds a lot like mine.
BTW over the weekend on Mecum Auctions I saw a red '73 L48 auto that looked like a nice car from what could be seen on TV , engine compartment looked pretty correct. It still could have been a pig with lipstick, it went for 11K .
but sold it to buy a a family car. now my daughter will be 1 year old i got another 73. this time LS4/m20 just got tranny rebuilt. and installeqdafter clean up found the WD black marking on top of tranny.
