Looking to dress up polished aluminum valve covers and have decided on one of the two in the photo. They are just sitting on them now. Which ones look the best.
Thanks

These the ones I have on now, however they are too narrow and the stock rocker arms hit the side. Have tried to grind the areas down on the covers to no avail.

I like either, I dig old school custom and it gives it that look to me, a member gave me old stingray script another gave me 454 letters ( thanks guys ) and I used them to make a custom license plate frame....

Love them both! One on each side! Where did you find those?

Those are the crossed flags from a 73 and the stingray is the fender badge of a 74. I will order new ones to put on the valve covers whenever I decide which ones to use.

I vote for the crossed flags.

It's simple, classic, and the colors look great.

I don't dislike the Stingray script, I've just never been a fan of putting "Corvette" or by extension "Stingray" on every accessory you can bolt on to your car.

I like them too! But to be honest I was thinking about doing something similar

I was thinking of using the adhesive the use for exterior name badges now

That's probably what I will use, unless something better comes along.

I'll cast a dissenting vote choose the bottom ones. They look more serious and and probably easier to keep clean.

I love the idea.... but I wonder if the adhesive will stand up to the heat in the engine bay... as compared to the exterior of a car?

The bottom ones are the ones I have on now. They are too narrow and the rocker arms hit the top side even after I a down the inside of the covers

My vote is for the Crossed Flags. I think the Stingray emblem looks like it should be on the fenders.
