Default Corvette in "The Nice Guys"

For those of you who have seen the movie "The Nice Guys" with Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling...was I the only one cringing when Ryan Gosling was getting shot at while hiding behind the Corvette on the rotating stage?

"Don't shoot the Corvette!!!" Lol.

I believe the scene was supposed to be at a 1978 auto show. The vette was some sort of bronze color....not a color offered that year. Still, it was a looker.

Being set in the late 70's, there are some cool cars from that era throughout the film.

Can we add other films we have seen c3 corvettes?

Like the rob zombie video for red kroovy
Or rush hour,
Or ....blue thunder, casino, billy jack, gumball ralley, ( death race 2000, not a real corvette ) the wraith, Apollo 13, terms of endearment,
boogie nights,
one of my favorites isn't a c3 but the c2 in king of the mountain...

I just love that car....

Yeah, I was afraid they were gonna blow it up or something. LOL. Nice Vette.

See http://bit.ly/1PsotLa for behind the scenes footage.

Never heard of king of the mountain before (and I'm quite a fan of older car related movies), but I'll have to find it and watch it now, thanks! That c2 is too cool...

Buy it here:

I read that during production of the film, Dennis Hopper grabbed a couple six packs and took off in the 'Vette for several hours to "get into charachter". Pretty cool movie, I saw just the ending at least twenty years ago on late night TV, wasn't till the advent of the internet I figured out what the name of the movie was. Took a few more years to find it on VHS. Now it's finally out on DVD.

It's not everyday that a film or a video is featuring a C3, so I'll leave this here.

I personally can't get enough of this, but to each his own.

Very likely, I'm very partial toward electronic music.

Yeah it's something, over the top all the time and still remain tasteful. Makes me wanna buy a gas mask.

Just watched Concrete Cowboys with Tom Selleck and Jerry Reed the other day. Has them driving a white chrome bumper C3. Tried the link where it starts at the specific scene, but doesn't seem to want to work. Car is at 24:33
