Default Dash wiring harness

Took my dash apart. Since its apart I am going to just buy a new wiring harness. Best place to purchase? I have found one place $500 shipped. Also, is the "dash wiring harness" all I need for this. Thanks everyone. I'm getting carried away with this

Lectric Limited makes a good product. There may be a separate harness for the AC.

Ill be sure to update as i go. I am a complete amateur at this. I thankfully have people that know what they are doing to help out. Taking the dash out was not fun, thankfully i removed the windshield. It made it alot easier. I smashed out the windshield after reading a post about windshield frame rot, glad i did. As mine was not bad, i went ahead and patched small holes and painted it with POR15. I am doing the entire tub with POR15. i never intended to go this far, lol. But since i am this deep im just going to do the whole thing right, the first time. It aint cheap! so far, im about $800 bucks deep, thats for carpet, OEM seat belts, POR15 and patching supplies for floor pans. THis wiring harness is looking to be upward of $600. As much as it may be a pain in the ***, im actually enjoying it. My C5 sits mostly now due to most of my time going to the 76'

Keep track of your spending if you have a strict budget, don't if you don't want to cry. My gauge replacement/ repair last winter went well over $2000 after I fixed a few bubba items I kept discovering while I was there. But it was well worth it. And I believe as you do. Fix it right the first time. And if its worth doing, its worth doing right. Good job. Good luck on your progress and keep us updated with photos. If you have a mechanical oil pressure gauge make sure the oil line is on tight and not kinked. I can post picks of why if you like. That was another $600 mistake for me.

Awesome, thank you for the tip. Im now aiming at just sticking with the original harness. All the guages work and im thinking that just changing the bulbs and cleaning all contacts may be a better cost effective solution. I have an 04 that i barely drive, so im thinking i wont have alot of time to drive this one either. Garage queens, not by choice but my job has me busy. BTW, you arent to far from me, im in Warwick, RI.

Easy mike, you were correct. I called Corvette America and they said its "Recommended" that you purchase the A/C and heater hose. an additional $179.

I am leaning at just sticking with what i have since it still works. clean the contacts and replace the bulbs.
