Drying things out here is very temporary.

AS you know....ANY mold or mildew is not a good thing. It is not like a bathroom where it is tiled and can be soaked down with stuff to stop it.

If it stays under control and does not come back....GREAT...if not...then what I normally have to do on customer cars is find where the water is getting in at and taking interior panels out and washing the car and looking for water entering the cabin.

No water entering car. Garage kept, cleaned with waterless wash by hand. Never driven on wet roads. Completely babied.

Sounds like you have and do well taking care of your car!
Unfortunately, short of a true clean room ambient-environment you and you car will be exposed to molds and mildews potentially all year long..you track on your shoe/clothes and it's on your clothing too.Just have to clean and destroy "scorched earth approach" with care about what you use on WHAT to get a baseline for routine cleaning vacuuming for care. Not easy..but if some things were easy good worthwhile things..Then everyone would get the job done right first time every time.Jim
