New here. First post. So, I kind of fell into a 1980 L82 T-top. Its Rough looking but with good bones. With new gas the engine fired right up after around 4 years in storage. It has been running strong for a couple of days now and starts very easily, even in the morning. It will need a little bit of body work and paint, new seals, things like that. But its generally a solid car i think. All original, number match. What should i offer for the title?

The Goodwrench valve covers are not stock and suggest an engine replacement to me. Have you checked? L-82s had the finned aluminum valve covers. Otherwise, not a bad car. Glass tops? What is the seller asking?

Thanks guys. I offered a grand. Well see what they say.
Car is a none matching number (NOM) but 82 is the last year of the C3's. The car to some is a collectable as a result. Offering a grand even with a crate\donor motor you should give it away to a charity that buys cars for those in need.
I offered them a thousand dollars because that's what i have. And because that's what i think it'll take. The car will not go to some charity. I'll be building it my self.
The car is worth up to $3000 maybe.it needs a lot .not the best color {imo}it will need paint any way.Your offer is a good starting point .go up If you really want the car .There is a lot of work ahead of you.
