jr, very clean. I'm going to aspire to have an engine compartment that clean.

Dave, thanks for the picture. That helps a lot, I've bookmarked it for future reference.

You're welcome, it's not mine but I copied it for a belt reference for the 454 belt routing. It's nice to see it head on with out stuff in the way. Mine is stock with factory AC.

I plan on adding aftermarket A/C (vintage air) this year, so I'm sure I'll have to change the belt configuration then.

Congrats on the purchase! I'm just a bit biased towards a 71 Bridgehampton Blue LS5 4spd coupe. I also have power steering w/o power brakes. Many happy sMiles with it!

No, you'll just install a belt from the compressor to the front slot on the water pump pulley.

Nice find, I am fond of 71's and especially if they are Bridgehampton blue. Looks like some fun ahead.

Welcome to the Bridgehampton Blue LS5 club!

Mine is serial number 1632 and retains most all of its original parts. I did rebuild the engine, trans and rear. The interior is all original and the body has had one correct color repaint in the mid 80s which is showing its age.

Enjoy!
