This looks like the real ad for the palm tree car. $19,800 instead of the scammer $5,000 price.

That blue 70 LS5 that recently sold at BJ had a blank engine pad and other issues and sold for 52k. There is a beautiful Bronze 70 LS5 vert in Hemmings for 62k and other LS5's in the high 40k and low 50k price range also for sale.Looks like the price of Beef is going up.

A friend attended that auction, sent a few pictures of that car close up. The lack of matching numbers, fetching that price, I'd attribute to the TV auction effect. No mention of whether the casting number and date codes were correct and within a reasonable time period. Given other issues I felt it was a $30K tops... Even so, much more than asking prices in the scam ads.

WOW, It's got 1968 style 7" wide rally wheels as well.
Lots of other stuff wrong with that car just from those pics(belts, wiper door actuator).... It's a nice looking car but that's T.V. money all the way.

There is a 70 blue LS5 for sale at Arizona Classics for 75k,32k original miles,tons of factory docs and awards.Looks like the BJ 70 LS5 has boosted prices.Will try to post the pics here.
