Default '68-'72 Rear Window Trim

So I got a removable rear window to swap into my '74, but I don't have the trim, and an online search only showed the lower piece. Is nobody making this?

Did all '68-'72 coupes have the pop out rear glass? Optional equipment? Are they the same all five years? I ask in case I have to buy used.

Yes

Standard equipment for coupes

They are essentially the same with only small hardware differences.

My advice would be to order any 68-72 AIM and see how the factory installed them. The AIM will list the original part numbers for what you will need.

When you say trim, are you talking about the stainless frame around the glass itself?

I got it from another forum member. He cut the a portion roof off and shipped it to me intact. It was latched in place, but the nylon "wear" parts may be gone, I'd have to check. I was thinking the plastic parts that match the upholstery color.

Looks like I will need a left and right. Is there any other panels specific to '68-'72? I'm not really sure what the '73-'77 llok like as mine were busted up/missing when I got the car.

I converted my 77.

2 of those notched panels above and 1 along the bottom will do it.

You're going to love having the glass out.

This is an older thread, but I book marked it so I could find it as a quick reference on what is needed and how to do the simple change over. I have about four more small pieces to grab and some paint and I'll be up for the change over this winter. Gotta have some project to do over the non-driving season.
