Barf?...oh you mean from the c4...

but the wide body on craigslist while I feel is over priced is a pretty good start for a resto mod,

Looks like something might go askew in the rear of it though....

Here are more sweet wide bodies....

I wouldn`t buy one, build one, or drive one.... but I LOVE to check them out to see what all was done to it, and how.

I was also surprised there are no photos of the rear. I`d like to see just how it was blended in, and what it looks like.

I agree with Bats, a little over priced but a good project start.

Of all the wideboby kits I've seen, this one is probably the least tacky.
I actually like it!

I am actually looking to add an inexpensive c3 to my garage. So i hope to see you all soon as a c3 owner as well. If any have a 5k or lessc3 to sell that runs and drives hit me up.

Don't forget to read the 10 rules sticky post, many <5k$ Vette are usually cheap because rust.

As you likely know the bargain in the corvette world is the c4,

When c3's start getting around 5 K and lower the simple thing is they need work, lots of it, some might look great but rust hides and some rust can only be seen after the body is off or things are pulled off that a seller isn't gonna let a buyer pull off, many 5 K and under c3's while not worthless ready for the dung heap they are better suited as parts car than trying to rebuild, once in a while a savvy buyer cash in hand will find a nice c3 for 5 k and under but it's very rare as lots of people are hunting those rare jewels.

Ironically, when you step up to about 8K you can buy a lot more nicer c3 in the 74-82 years, they will need stuff but be far more car, 10-12 k and it gets even better,

No.......not at all. We have seen so much worse. I have to agree with the others it has possibilities. I'm not saying it's a paint job away but if you're into the wide bodies this at least is a starting point if it's not rusty.

So my 81 wide body is done just about the same time the new Batman film comes out in 89 and I was daily driving that car so I got a heck of a lot of people feel the need to say "Batman" I would see it coming and cut them off and in my best Beetlejuice voice say,

It got a lot of laughs,

Sold that car to a LEO friend whose LEO future wife said she wouldn't marry him until he sold the car...the car went overseas...wonder where it is now....
