Most cars have quite a bit, bodies help tie it together
Maybe by design for comfort, bean counting or>

Sure the spreader bar does something. That kickup on the rear always looked pretty weak to me like a joint ready to break Im no engineer though

Please remember I was driving around the block in the subdivision.
Less than 30mph when going straight, Only a couple of turns on those vids and they were making a turn when leaving a stop sign, maybe 5 or 10 mph. COntrol arm bouncing is mainly bumps in our great roads.

I was just trying to see if there was flex, not really how much flex. Otherwise I'd have gone and found some S bends and an on-ramp or something to load the suspension a little

Lets just take it as an observation

Exactly..... but I think if you got that much movement just going low speed around the block, imagine what that "spirited" run on a winding road would look like!

I thought so too, but I found that by the time I bought all the parts, it was quicker, cheaper, and easier to just buy one.

I believe they are available for BB with electric fans. (VB&P, Speed Dirrect,
One of the members made a spacer for the engine driven fan and it worked out for him

Mine is also a BB and I purchased bar but I made my own brackets.

This sounds like it's time for another video and let's find out what happens if it's pushed a little harder.

Easy to make, hard to get to fit within a narrow space

I believe it helps convertibles lessen cowl shake too!

Not sure what a pre made one cost but I have about $35.00 into making mine and about 2 hours labor with that likely includes a beer brake in between

Most people have a Friend that has a welder they could get the Hiem joint's welded.

But the most important reason I did it myself is I'm doing a LS motor and wanted to insure it was in the correct spot.

VB&P offers a pre-welded and an un-welded so you can locate the tabs to the bracket where you like.
