Already made the appointment to get new tires on Saturday morning, would have done it sooner but they had to order that size. I remember when a 225/15 was common.
Might as well put 245/60/15's on there. A little more rubber on the road won't hurt. Good luck, Lots of potential there....the vette, that is. The dog...well
Nice car well done! Miss Rat Dog is clearly digging it too.
Please keep the pictures coming as you progress it's interesting to view them. I hope to be doing the same thing soon.

Well the tires were bought over 2 months ago, if I had it to do again I would have gone wider. I'll burn these up eventually.
The dog is a fixer upper too, I won't bore with before and after pics, but she was under weight, filthy with over grown nails and very little energy when she showed up. She started hanging out in front of my house one day and followed me around. I was gonna drop her off at the pound but looked at her teeth and overall crappy condition and figured that was a death sentence. Now she is a pretty healthy and energetic dog with hardly any of the typical chihuahua bitchiness and seems to like everybody and every animal. Her teeth are still gross as hell, the few she has!

Thanks, here is a pic from today. Not all done but back to running and feeling a little peppier and definitely smoother after the intake swap. Part of that might be more things I tidied up along the way more than the manifold. It's like a gleaming diamond in a pile of doodoo
The air filter is temp until I refinish the stocker, plus the stocker is a PITA since I keep pulling it to do work in there.
It will also get a proper temp breather set up.
Not too much to add except I replaced the t top seal on one side and was disappointed with the quality. Good part is I've driven it the 150 round trip to work about a half dozen times and it has been pretty much trouble free and cruises at modern speeds just fine.
Well here we are a year later and most little issues went away with elbow grease and use, I guess the only real issue is the HVAC system which I have not been super motivated to tackle. Otherwise I can just hop in and go without too much worry. If I can make the same kind of progress in the next 12 months that I made in the last 12 then it will be a pretty nice driver quality C3.
