Hi Dennis,
Yes, there is mention that some original cars have been seen with an escutcheon on the lock.

The 70-72 guide looks outstanding. I think i'll get one just to have it even though I dont have a 70 thru 72 car. I hope they update the 68-69 manual to look like the 70/72. The more pictures the better

Thanks for the kind words Ken.

While all the folks involved in the new manual did a great job, a real big thank you goes to Gary Bosselman who I chose as manual coordinator. Gary did a truly outstanding job on updating information contained in the manual as well as supplying many of the photos (he has access to dozens of original cars). In addition, the quality control team of Alan Struck, Reba Whittington, and Dr. Patrick Hulst also deserve a thank you for their efforts in keeping the manual on track and in good order.

A fantastic manual was the product of all the hard work by the manual revision team. A great book to have for reference... Even if you aren't an NCRS member.

The 1968-1972 PV manual has also been revised and updated for those folks headed in that direction.

Gary has been retained to revise the 1968-1969 manual in the style of the new 1970-1972 manual. Expect another fantastic product!
