So, I recently resto-modded a 75 Stingray. 463HP 383, 2014 Corvette Cyber Grey Pearl paint, removable rear window, 80s style front and rear bumpers, lowered, white guages with blue LEDs, ect. I decided I really didn't like the factory rear taillamps. So I modded the harness and now all 4 lights are tail, brake, turn lights. The reverse lights are now a white LED strip by the licence plate. All 4 taillights are Philips X-tremeVision 1157 bulbs. I still think it keeps it almost stock looking, but better.
Any ideas on an alternatives for the white LED bar for the reverse lights? It's OK and it'll do for now, but I'm not really sure how I like it.

I think it might look or work better IMO.If you had one on each side of the plate.Its a good idea how ever you do it.
Looks like it's a little too late to do this on your car but Vince'82 widened the license plate area and added a light on both sides of the license plate. I might do that to mine someday

One other idea I kicked around a bit was to add 1968 reverse lights. Just another thought for you to consider... but I personally decided I liked the LED idea better than cutting holes in my valence.
