Default 1976 Emissions

I have a stock 1976 L48 and want to change out the intake and carb with Elderbrock equipment. I do not have an air pump but do have an EGR. I want to remove the EGR so I can use the Elderbrock Intake Part#2101. What else needs to come off or be plugged if I remove the EGR? Or is there a Elderbrock intake that I can use with the EGR? Thanks

If you are concerned for the environment and want to do your part to reduce emissions, keep the egr. If not, toss it! No loss in performance and no damage to your engine will occur. Read more here: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...me-on-egr.html

Thank you both for the information. Now it's just a matter of making a decision. Truly appreciate the feedback.
