Default Headlamp Door Switch Plug Source?

The wife and I went to the Road America October Sunset Cruise. Pretty cool. Three laps around the track at slow speed (40-70 MPH). Lots of cars. Good weather and great colors on all the trees around the track.

Headlamp burned out on the way home. No big issue other than trying to ensure a can get the right one to make the fiber optics work right, but, as always, other "opportunities" present themselves when reviewing the details of a C3.

It looks like I am missing one headlight door switch and both harness plugs on my '69. The wires from the harness are there, but hanging loose. They were tucked up on top of the other harness items and I had not seen them before. I thought maybe the bulb in the console was burned out.

Does anyone know if there is a source for the plugs? It looks like a large female quick disconnect terminal would work as well, but I am trying to keep a stock look and protect the connections.

Thanks for the help!

...also lost a lower A-arm front poly bushing and retainer on that ride. Oh well... it was a nice day anyway.

Hi VL,
I don't know of a source for the plug…. just the switches seem to be available.
Finding the unusual connectors in the harnesses is difficult. The few people who reproduce the harnesses are quite adamant about not selling parts….. just complete harnesses.
Many people replace the forward lighting harnesses so you might post an ad on the parts Forum asking someone to cut off a connector to sell to you. That connector was in the harnesses for many years.
Make sure they leave enough 'tail' on the wires so you can do a proper splice.
Regards,
Alan

Are you certain the plugs have been cut off and aren't just in hiding?
