hello everyone
Need advise. I have a 1975 indoor kept 50,000 mile car that was bright green original. Someone painted it red. Ive done a restoration. Should i restore color thanks
Hi T,
Welcome!
First Post!!
Quite a dilemma!!!
IF you're interested in maintaining the originality of your car then painting it in the exterior color that's stamped on the trim tag is what should be done.
If you determine that originality isn't so important to you then you should paint it what ever color you would like.
Originality matters to some folks very much, but to others not at all.
I think how much of the rest of the car you've restored to original may influence which color you choose too.
Regards,
Alan
