In regards to the steering wheel. Are they just a simple changeover of the steering wheel itself? No need to change any other parts like the boss or horn cap?

I picked up a set of C-5 full power seats and was able to modify them to fit down as low as possible in my 68. At 5-08, its not a problem for me but taller people will have problems unless the t-tops are off, but I ran into other issues I did not think about. When I put the seats in, the huge steering wheel was hitting my thighs. Well to fix that, I thought I would swap in a tilt tele steering column from my guy who has a warehouse full of Vette parts. Then find out that Chevy did not make a tilt tele column for the 68. Got a tilt column from Flaming River and new smaller steering wheel. Also replaced and upgraded the seat belt to a shoulder harness type from a boneyard. As the replacement seats needed to be recovered, I found a local shop that did a great job and had them put the C-3 logo on the headrest. They were cheaper than buying the new covers online and doing it myself.
A bit pricey in the end and some hair loss on my end getting it all to fit, by my car is pretty far from original now anyway.
But far and away way more comfortable than the stock seats the 68 came with.
I went with Pontiac Fiero seats. Mr. Mike was able to accommodate my father's signature into the leather. They are not uncomfortable to me and they fit like a glove.
Those seats look great! Where do you find used Fiero seats? Junkyard?

Sorry to go off topic a bit guys.
I ordered the steering wheel so hopefully it is a simple changeover.

good luck finding some in decent shape. The problem is the foam provides all the support, no springs. i called wrecking yards all over my area, none available. i would rather have them instead of my C5 seats
Yes, I installed a set of Recaro LS seats (originally purchased in 1979 for a Mustang) in my 1973 convertible.
I installed them in about 1999 and did a frame off on the car a few years later. At that time I redid the original seats and reinstalled them in the car. Seats are just waiting on another project!
As you may know the Recaro's use a somewhat universal mounting system that you just have to purchase a separate set of brackets for to mount in your specific car. The Mustang adapters wouldn't work in the Corvette so I had to purchase a different set of adapters. I ended up losing about an inch of headroom which was a bit much for me. Because the back adjust **** (lower right side of the right seat above) hit the door panels, I reversed the seats so that the ***** were above the center console. Otherwise fit was good and the seats are incredibly comfortable.
