Curious..While not stock..has anyone applied door edge guards on their C3 to prevent door edge dings & nicks from opening doors..?
My '78 door edges will not accept the standard U shaped vinyl door edge trims..Door edge is too thick...
..I do have some chrome-vinyl edge strips that come w peel off 3/16"/3M adhesive that will work and the chrome looks good..I haven't installed them yet. They need to be applied at temp above 60 F..and the garage is not much over that these days..
Your thoughts?Thank you, Jim

Look up Xpel.com, excellent product(s) for protecting your Corvette. I have it on my BMW/Suburban and will use it on my 1970 C3 when I complete it.
Sills/Headlights/Door edge and Paint. Easy to do yourself or there may be a shop near by.
