I was driving a '71 Challenger in 1978 the day of The Blizzard. I actually called in sick and when I woke up later in the day the snow was a couple inches from the roofline of the Challenger sitting in the driveway. And my Dad had gotten stuck on Rte 128 outside Boston. Ugh.
Yesterday I took the '69 for a drive seeing how it was 57 and very sunny. It was so friggen cold I pretty much turned around in 5 minutes, washed the car, parked it in the corner of the garage with the battery cut off and put it to bed for the winter. Goodnight, 2016.
