Default I think I found a keeper

Well its been a long search and this '74 shows up locally. The frame is powder coated along with all suspension completed. All bushings and body mount bushings new. Matching numbers car with the L48 and she runs very strong. Matching Turbo 400 trans as well. All she needs is the interior replaced (staying silver) and that I can do easily. Dash and console is beautiful and paint is very nice. Currently in for a pre-purchase inspection. I'm crossing my fingers. I can't believe how much money I'm saving on this purchase

Just be sure to check the frame carefully. It wouldn't be the first time someone has covered up rust with nice shiny paint... Good luck!

Default slick !

Looks good ! Very clean. Is the a/c working ?

I don't think it's possible to be too careful with frame & birdcage rust. I have recently seen a few that were downright scary. The inspection and another set of eyeballs sounds like an excellent idea. Good luck !

Johnny, Looks like a great C3!..Someone has done some work on the car and appears they did it thoughtfully.. Mileage showing on odometer? Records of fluid, belts, hoses being replaced?..Tires, brakes,?
The L48 350 is a good engine and will get up and go fast as most folks need to..Does the heater-defroster work?Wipers, lights.etc.?
Has your son seen it yet?..Hope the deal goes well and your inspection goes well and the '75 finds a good new home..Jim

Got the report back this morning from the inspection service. She's a winner. The people inspecting the car were very impressed with the condition and work perform on the undercarriage. She'll be in her new home tonight

Hi JU,
TONIGHT!
You must be pretty excited!
Looks like a pretty 74 and an interesting color combination.
I notice the ignition shielding is missing.
Although you may not need (depending on what radio is in the car) or want it now, it might be a good idea to see if the current owner has it and if you could get it to come along with the car.
Good Luck!
Regards,
Alan

Great looking '74! Glad it all worked for you and that the right car came along. The '74 is a good year being the last of the true dual exhaust C3's.

Thanks! I didn't know that. I'd love to know more trivia like that about the '74 year C3.

Congrats on the nearly new car......it looks great! Maybe one day I'll be as far along as you are.

And use the car to have fun with your son (& family)....it's the most important part.

Blue with a silver interior - sweet! One of my favourite colour combinations. I like the silver interiors in the C3's best and yet its a pretty rare interior colour - seems very strange to me.
