Thanks for all the kind words. The conversion really wasn't that tough. Just make sure you get a good complete donor clip. The hardest part was getting enough nerve to make that first cut.

Aw jim i feel that way about my hard top convertible with hidden rag top..but yeah jims is sweet as far as COUPES go....

I wanted to convert my 80 many years ago but I chickened out. Had all the parts on hand but just couldn't do it. If I came across a nice rear convertible clip I would attempt it today. Looks like a fun project.

There are currently 4 of them for sale on ebay, but not cheap.
