Hey guys so dug into my rear bumper today. Surprise it came apart in pieces. Also while taking out the Tail lights a had a couple of the bolts snap. Now I'm replaceing with a fiberglass(flex-fit) material. Are these tail lights supposed to be mounted with the same brackets or mounted differently when the rear bumper is changed? The rease I'm asking is the retainers on the insde of the bumper is where my bolts snapped so I wont be able to reuse them and have to order new ones. Let me know what you guys think.
I was also thinking about doing a conversion over to LED tails. Now my vehicle still has the center light being reverse light. Do you guys know and kits that have that set up?
You can mount the tail lamps in the bumper, the same wa they were mounted in the original one.
You can buy the T Bolts, that all of the vendors sell, to install your fiberglass bumper. You can also just use regular nuts and bolts, with some washers. You really only need the retainer strips with the welded studs, if your installing another urethane bumper.
