A 4 door 79
Wasn't there a thread not to long ago about Corvettes with back seats?
Came across this on ebay, it should qualify.

Was probably pretty nice back in the day. Looks like its still worth a good buck in today's market too.

Definitely something you don't see everyday. Like a wreck, it's awful but I can't stop looking at it. Would be great for a limo service.

i agree interesting to look at but with all the issues our cars have normally this one must be a bear on repairs.

I can't explain why, but I would love to have that. My kids would stop bitching that there are no seats for them. . .oh, wait, scratch that. Seriously though, it is pretty cool looking, in an odd and uncomfortable kind of way. It's like a Porsche Panamera precursor.

I have the plastic model of that thing, still in the box. May have been a Monogram. Got it with another model I wanted. Never could make myself assemble it.

Hi,
Did one REALLY sell for $500,000????????????
Did that much money actually change hands?

One of the original 6 was at Corvette Spectacular either 2011 or 2012. The asking price at the time was 250K. It didn't get a buyer then!

Hi EM,
I'm thinking the same thing!
You could build 10 of them for $500,000…...and then have to give them away.

Alan

I'm asking myself why would someone go to all of the trouble to build it and not give it a first rate paint job and have the interior redone .
I guess it would have a use for someone !
