Default Flat rear screen

Hi
First post so be gentle....
Is the model year 1977 the last of the flat rear screen models ? And also is there a kit/conversion to put a flat screen in a newer C3 ?
I'm new to these beasts and trying to get all the correct info before I import one to England..
Thanks
Lee

77 was last year of flat window or cove back as i call it,
There were kits to turn flat window eariler cars into bubble butt rear glass cars but i ironically do not recall an aftermarket kit to do it the other way,
The rear deck is of course different but a good glass man or person with drive could do this using the rear deck from an earlier cove rear car....now cue in a zillion people saying dont do it or you cant...lol
I would believe you could find a nice flat window in the same price range as a 78-82 bubble butt, something to consider....

Hi Lee,
If you're going to go through the work of changing to a flat back window you might as well be certain to buy the parts need to make it REMOVABLE as it was in the 68-72 cars.
Regards,
Alan

Thanks Alan
Something else I've learned due to this site...! If I can't find what I'm after and decide to go down that route I would definitely like to have the removable version...
Thank you for the heads up my Friend
