Has anyone installed a trickle charger inside their Corvette? Was thinking of installing mine in back storage box and just use quick disconnects. Any ideas or feed back?
After my dad retired and didnt drive it as much he kept one on his avanti...another fiberglass car, his battery was under the hood he mounted the little box on the battery quick connectors out to the 110v but he also had a timer to the tender it was on like half a day then off half day, his buddies would give him grief over it but he was just sure that a battery could get too hot hooked up 100% of the time, well he got like 6 or 8 years out of a optima battery...not bad, huh

I used to leave a trickle charger on all winter but that was the first DieHard battery that went bad prematurely . I don't know for sure if that was the cause but I won't do it again. I now just connect it overnight once a week.
