Default Rear Compartment Spring Question

I know these are not OEM for a 1969, but they sounded like a good idea (in theory at least). I cannot find instructions or pictures of installation on the forum or Google. I can't seem to visualize how these are installed.

I am usually pretty good at understanding this by looking at the parts. I am afraid I am going brain dead on this one.

Anyone install these things?

Hi vl,
ZIP describes the springs: "mount into the striker and 'pop' the door up when unlatched." ???
I believe the 'pull loops' were added during 69 production. Maybe add them to your doors?
Regards,
Alan

Don't know if they are needed, just thought they would save a little wear and tear on the loops. My doors fit well though, so very little friction to overcome.

If they sit in a box with my extra parts, this is fine I suppose.

they slip in under the exterior door handles if the spring is worn out in meachanism. I hust bough a good usd door handle with goos springs as many said these aren't very good.

I must admit I have never seen, or needed, those springs.
