You misunderstood what I posted, perhaps I was not clear. By opening the thread, I was not talking about the OP, but those that saw the thread thread title and then opened it in their browser. I just don't understand why anyone who was not interested in the thread topic wasted their time to read it. It was clearly titiled so why bother? But whatever. .
Not sure I am following the logic that the title of the thread should have kept Bats from reading it.....it said, C7 and C3....so if you like C3's you look at it, especially given its on the C3 forum. If you like a C7 and bought one, good for you. I like them to, but this is a C3 forum, and normally the folks on here are loyal to and admire their C3 cars.....and some, including myself, believe the C3 is the best generation Corvette ever. That should not offend anyone, but is sure seems to. If you want to, their is a C7 forum where I am sure you will find a lot of people who think the C7 is the car to have.

I own a C3 as well as a C7 so I participate in both forums. If I did not like the C3, I would not have purchased one and I would not be in the process making it like new again. When I was growing up the C3 was my dream car. Since then I have owned 5 generations of Corvettes and I saw good things about all of them. My C7 is my road trip car and I use it to travel cross country. It is OK to like more than 1 car.
I am not sure why you are still arguing with me about but I hope you enjoy your car and I will leave it at that. You, bat, and everyone else have a wonderful day.
BTW; The reason my C3 is not in my avatar photo is because I have not taken a suitable shot yet.

Interesting comparison to say the least. A question for the C7 owners how comfortable would you be backing it up without the rear camera? For me not at all if the camera wasn't working. Other wise it's an incredible car.
A C3 is no picnic to back up either. I scraped the Stingray emblem off mine first time I backed it into the garage.

Other guys tried to explain it to you and did so better than i can and im only jumping in because you seem to ignore anyone else who also doesnt want a c7 to go after me for not wanting one, im not the only cat here who doesnt want to own a c7,
Lots of guys do not want to own c7s but still clicked this thread, because it said c3 beside c7, this thread was as any thread is on here open to opinions from both sides of the fence, what seems to be upsetting you is any opinion you do not personally like and agree with and the forum just doesnt work like that,
Like i keep saying if you love your c7 that is super, enjoy it, but please respect those of us who do not want one and like c3 better, and try not to take it as such a deep personal insult when we post our opinions,
But hey, you like c3, so we are sempatico on that.
There is a lot more C7 below the wheels centerline than there is C3.

Sorry C7 guys, but when I see them side by side I like the looks of the C7 even less. Oh well, opinions vary, I understand they are incredible cars. I'd like to have the guts of a C7 in a '69 body!
