Has anyone found a source for interior hardware like those counter sunk heads that have that thin washer on them? I know the vendors sell them but I don't always like paying shipping for a small purchase. I bought a kit once but, it didn't have a lot of them.

In need of some fasteners now too. Those "full interior kits" are not even close.
No one makes the dash pad screw/tapered-washer fasteners to my knowledge. Sometimes you can find them at a Corvette swap meet.
Went to the Corvette Expo in Sevierville, TN last week. Very few vendors there; not many inside either. Terrible turnout compared to several prior years, but it has been losing ground over the last few years.
I went to the one in Galveston same not a good turn out. I thought maybe it was the weather. But on the brute side maybe part prices will come down due to the slack. Right
Hi c,
Years ago the larger 'swap' meets (Carlisle, Bloomington, and Corvette Expo) were many folk's main source of parts.
The internet has changed that dramatically!
Some vendors say the expense of being a presence at the meets no longer is justified based on what they sell.
It appears to me that the 'area' of the swap meet at Carlisle is the same as in the recent past, but the amount of empty spaces, and the spaces used to park a vehicle, seems to be on the increase.
I can understand the parts vendors needing to be paid for the packing they do and shipping costs, but often the total of the two seems pretty outrageous.
Regards,
Alan
Just a thought about maybe looking at other GM vehicles? Lots of vendors for Camaros, full size GM products. I had an older Impala that had the same types you are asking about. They had one of those all interior screw collections and there were loads of them in it. Not sure how many you can gather at once, but maybe because it's not for a CORVETTE, they might be cheaper.
I guess I am not thinking of the same ones Mr Croaker was looking for. These were from the Impala. Used them all throughout the car for various trim pieces that had vinyl covering.

That small one is one and the ones where the head is almost the same diameter as the threads part are the others.
