Just wondering. I got my C2 1965 Corvette 3 years ago and at the time went to visit a local guy who I know had many Corvettes over the years. He has a blue 1968 and states it is the one that Jesse James used to own. Now, I have Googled the subject and see it has even been discussed on the forum before. I see in auction it sold for about $40K. I live in Ft Lauderdale and even saw a picture of the blue car at an auto trim place local here getting some interior work done. How would I know, other than him saying it is, if this is really Jesse James old car? Is this one of those cars that comes up for sale often and people in different areas claim to have this car or is his the real deal? I am just curious and thats's why I posted this

Yep and I own a horse that he owned when they robbed the stage back in the 1800's and believe it or not the horse is still healthy !
OP is correct, I’m in fort Lauderdale and my neighbor owns the blue 68 formerly Jesse James with all documentation. You’re also correct about the interior redo done in pompano Fl.
I fail to see the notoriety associated with owning his car, unless its a custom and you are into that, otherwise you are paying for bragging rights...
Yep, by the low life coward Bob Ford.
Yes, he shot him point blank in the back of the head, in his home no less. But, Jesse was no saint and killed his share, they were not the stand in the street showdowns you see on TV... Ever hear of Centralia...Unarmed Union soldiers shot down in cold blood, guess who was there...
