That a great job!!! I cant imagine having 2 asses!! Funny!!
on my early 68 I removed my seats, left the steering column attached beyond the fire wall but unattached everything on the passenger compartment side so it would sag. when I pulled the dash I took pictures of how the main harness was run because of all the stories. I'm glad I did because early 68s harnesses cross the dash low to high across the steering column, others are all low or all high. I believe I got my kick panels out without removing my dash as the speakers in my 68 are down there, not in the dash. Next week if the weather is good I'm replacing my steering column, clutch linkaged, adding power brakes, replacing my heads and swapping out the side exhaust. Lots of upgrades. so the dash may have to be moved. I hope not, I dont want to get into it again until summer. I hope it goes smoothy

I have highly modified the dash/wiring of my '72 so no sweat....out and in in about the same 15 minit time span.....I cheated, and put a 4 pin molex plug on all the lighting circuits....and just ONE gray to the plug, divided out for the lights....cuts the time down to nothing, hardest thing is plugging in the '75? electric tach...I have the speedo cable run across the driver foot well, under the rug/padding...forward and up/over into the speedo direct.....
GOD, I"m lazy.....
I'm lazy too.
The last time I pulled my dash out, I seriously thought about doing the connectors. But, and it's a big BUT, I thought that if I did that, I'm giving in the fact that I'm going to be in and out of this dash removal/installation more and more. And that's not what I want. So, to beat this inanimate object, I refused to do it

The question was asked about later C3's, and I'd say my 79's dash was not that hard to remove when I had to do my heater core. I've also had the center cluster out more times than I remember, and the speedo/tach cluster out a few times as well. None are terribly difficult.
